The 1688FS is our tri group front speaker switcher. Designed with Home Theatre in mind, it is an integral part of all our home theatre comparator systems. It has the capacity to switch 16 pairs of main speakers, 8 mono centre speakers and 8 active sub-woofers.

All speaker ports have a corresponding LED indicator driver connection, this gives a visual indication of which speaker is being demonstrated.

Each speaker port has either a four pin plug and socket for stereo mains , or a two pin plug and socket for the mono centres. The active sub-woofer connections are a single gold plated RCA socket.

All RCA connections are the high quality gold plated type. All speaker connections are made using convenient multi pin plug and socket connectors. These are of high quality construction and are easy to terminate.
