The 8PL is our Surround EX or 6.1/7.1 channel upgrade. It can be added to any of our 5.1 channel systems to give switching for the 6th and 7th channels of the latest surround sound receivers. It is capable of switching both the outputs of the receivers and the speakers. The unit can be configured to switch either 12 receivers and 6 pair of speakers, or 6 receivers and 12 pair of speakers

 

All connections are made using high quality plug and socket connectors, they utilise screw termination for easy connection. To control the extra channels you will need any of the following control options, the GP8 push button controller, the Nexus touch screen controller or the soon to be released SI8 Interactive controller.
